The images and language of Voyager are contemporary, vibrant and powerful; they bring the tarot from the Middle Ages to the present. As tools of intuition and transformation the core of tarot is timeless: the Archetypes are the very expression of our humanity. The interpretations and vivid imagery that James has brought to the Voyager deck are stunning! I first was introduced to tarot over thirty years ago and found very little that I could relate to in my world at that time.
Then, in 1995 I met James Wanless and Voyager Tarot; our friendship has continued to build ever since. At first I simply found the deck more interesting and vibrant. Since then I have attended so many classes with James (we often present programs at the same conferences) that I have forgotten which ones and in each class I discover more and more depth and the relationships among the cards became clearer. Voyager continually inspires new awareness and connections with the inner world of self.
For years I have had students choose cards as a part of most of my in-depth hypnosis classes. My daily personal readings have become a valuable resource in my life and I have found Voyager to be as much a tool of transformation as any of the many techniques that I teach as a hypnotist.
