Most hypnotists don't know how to help people with addictions.  Many hypnotists believe the 12 Step Program and Alcoholics Anonymous rob people of their personal power and leaves them with fewer resources.  Ironically, this is because hypnotists are taught misconceptions about those programs, just as the people in the programs may have misconceptions about the use of hypnosis.
When the addiction or chemical dependency center is educated about what hypnosis can do for them and the hypnotist is educated about the reality of the recovery programs, everyone sees a very clear potential for collaboration and helping people.

Scott Sandland has been working in Drug Rehab Centers for seven years, and has been using hypnosis to help people with addictions for many more.  He has seen how applying the principles of NLP to the 12 step program is empowering and safe for everyone involved and can help people enjoy long term sobriety and an improved quality of life.  In this talk Scott will explain his philosophy of this process and explain how he works in groups and one-on-one sessions to help people get and stay sober.
This call will discuss how to work with addicts, how to get into and work with chemical dependency centers, and explain many of the misconceptions most hypnotists have about helping people get and stay sober.
